This week is coming loaded with new features thanks to the Intermot 2014. One of the most striking is the model that Kawasaki aims to revolutionize the market for super sports, this is the new Ninja H2R, a motorcycle with which the Japanese brand seeks to offer an acceleration never seen before.
Kawasaki has designed the H2R with an eye on two concepts, combining the principle of the trademark "Fun to Ride" and a huge power. An acceleration never seen before was the key pillar for a new brand icon.
As in previous models you can get a great power, but with large engines. In this case the starting point was not that, because for this project was important that the engine was lightweight and compact. For this reason we chose 998c.c supercharged engine, so the engine block has a compact design, similar to a superbike.
The design of this dual-turbocharger engine is born from the cooperation of designers Kawasaki engines and various divisions of KHI group. Thus everything is at home and ensures that the turbocharger is perfectly coupled to the engine characteristics.
For Kawasaki engineers would have been easy to solve the stability of the bike riding such a big engine on a chassis with long wheelbase and "solved problem". But that was not in the plans of this project, the H2R had to be a compact bike and accurate at very high speeds. Therefore, to design the chassis was used at the highest technology analysis, looking for this to be resistant to harness the enormous power of the supercharged and flexible for handling high-speed motor. The result is a multitubular chassis high strength steel.
Aerodynamics also plays a key role in this machine, no piece is "just like that". With the help of Kawasaki Aerospace Company they have designed all the components of the aerodynamics of the bike. An example of this work are the fins fiber upper and lower carbon, which confer stability on the bike at very high speeds (similar to those we could see on the bike Czech Karel Abraham pilot when he ran with Ducati)
The name Kawasaki to put such a beast is loaded with history. History is part of each element that composes. On the one hand mentions the high performance it shares with many other legendary models, benefits that translate into the word Ninja. On the other hand H2 inherits the acronym, acronyms that gave name to another iconic brand model which at the time also offered an acceleration never seen before.
Another curiosity is the logo of KHI, dating back to the 1870s and that policy, their use in products is rare and limited to models of historical importance. The fact that the Ninja H2R is authorized to use it warns us of the importance of the machine they are presenting.
Unfortunately never see one of these beasts moving through the streets, it does not meet the specifications required by the law. However we have the consolation that soon know its street version, the Ninja H2.
Additionally, if you need some of the motorcycle parts, you could search at Banggood, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide you the low prices. Such as, motorcycle universal speedometer, off road motorcycle headlights, etc.
